We are currently recruiting for qualified Welders to join our day, afternoon and night shift team at our Dandenong Manufacturing Site. You’ll work on some exciting projects such as Next Generation of trams, Xtrapolis2.0 and Velocity. We'll look to you for the following activities: Adhering to welding procedure specifications (WPS) / ability to read engineering drawings/weld symbols. Executing MAG welding on mild steel and stainless steel in all positions. Assemble and inspect finished product to ensure defined quality level on time. Material Handling Set up production equipment: machines and workstations. Clean and maintain working areas and production equipment. Respect task time and quality level Working with jigs/fixtures Identify parts as required by the operating instruction. Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks. Complies with EHS rules. All about you: We value passion and attitude over experience. That's why we don't expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we've listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Australian recognised Certificate III in Fabrication Previous experience with MIG welding Problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.
