We are currently seeking enthusiastic students to come on board with our events team for an intensive SOCIAL MEDIA internship program. Mamamia is Australia's largest independent women's media company, with a decade-long reputation for being on the pulse of what women are talking about. Our events division spans virtual (online) and IRL (in-person) events, for ticketed audiences and commercial partners. With access to the whole Mamamia media network, an internship with Mamamia Events will give you real-world experience in the design, planning, marketing and execution of a range of event types. ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP The Social Media internship will include a range of the following under the supervision of a Creative Producer within the events team: - Shadow the Creative Producer and assist with daily tasks - Contribute to social media brainstorms and planning - Create assets for social media and copy (including captions, video scripts) using Canva or similar programs - Schedule, distribute and repurpose content across a range of channels - TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Linkedin etc - Community management and engagement across all social media groups and pages - Manage customer feedback, escalation of community issues - Respond to DMs This opportunity is unpaid but will give you real-world training in Social Media strategy and execution, and will see you create contacts across the Mamamia media company. PLEASE NOTE: This opportunity can only be completed as a vocational placement to meet Fair Work Australia guidelines. This internship is for University of Technology Sydney (UTS) students only. Therefore for 180 hours only, students planning to enroll or already enrolled in a Professional Internship subject are currently eligible to apply.
