As a Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for managing, directing and overseeing the operations and administration of assigned projects and programs. You will be a visible, accountable leader who oversees the successful delivery of Insight Consulting Services projects and programs for Insight clients and helps develop new opportunities for future business. You will work independently and exhibit a high degree of initiative in resolving problems encountered and developing recommended solutions. What type of work will you be doing? 90% of your time will be devoted to leading and managing projects and programs. 10% of time to business development. Working with internal leadership to help drive best practices, standards, and methodology Ensuring the change management process is utilized in order to maintain profitability and customer satisfaction. Leading projects relative to milestone completion while managing to resource and financial budgets. Developing and implementing complete project schedules to ensure required dates are met. Monitoring and maintaining client and internal project executive satisfaction by engaging in weekly or monthly status meetings. Assisting Sales in business development activities to grow Insight business. Participating in and helping author Statements of Work (SOWs), responding to RFPs as necessary. Presenting Insight’s Project Management and service capabilities to prospective clients What capabilities you will need to succeed in this role? Demonstrable experience delivering complex Microsoft implementation projects, specifically Dynamics 365, within the financial services industry (i.e. superannuation, insurance, etc) on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders Ability to generate and manage detailed project plans Managing technical resources working on multiple projects seamlessly Excellent customer relationship management skills and ability to interface seamlessly with sales staff Ability to run project update meeting with both technical and non-technical attendees Leadership qualities and skills that motivate project team members to drive the project to a successful conclusion Proven success proactively driving profitability and customer satisfaction Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business/ professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, other employees Exceptional communicator - both written and oral Knowledge of Agile tools such as JIRA and DevOps Experienced using established PM methodologies, specifically Agile and Prince 2.
