You’ll report to Senior Superintendent - Technical , and work alongside a close-knit team of technical professionals. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our QNGR fleet at the Mayne Stabling Yard, Bowen Hills . We’ll look to you for: Perform the ISST role on a rotating basis, supporting in service faults with technical advice to support the Driver and to minimize the in service impact of the fault. Raise ‘Incidents’ in SAP based on first contact from Drivers or on-board systems, ensuring high quality reporting to enable effective repairs. Liaise with Mobile Service Technician teams in order to effect the repair with no impact to in service performance. Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability. Monitor fleet performance using on-board diagnostics and remote monitoring systems and provide KPI’s as required on critical systems such as HVAC, Toilets, Doors etc. All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. The ability to solve complex problems in a fast paced environment. An in-depth knowledge of the NGR fleet and sub-systems. Significant experience in a technical role, maintaining and repairing the NGR fleet. Relevant Trade and/or Engineering qualifications.
