In this role, you will: Support the health and wellbeing of children through planning and preparing nutritious food Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic About Goodstart Meadow Springs: Goodstart Early Learning Meadow Springs is a large, well presented centre in a growing area close to a shopping centre, service station and local state and private schools. The centre is fully staffed with each of our five rooms having Diploma trained educators. All our educators are dedicated to offering the highest standard of childcare to all of our families in a setting that accommodates all children's developmental needs. In addition we also aim to provide a safe and supportive environment for the children and their families. All of the rooms are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning. Our centre was assessed by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority and we received an overall rating of ‘Exceeding’. This process is a National Framework, which rates all Childcare Centres across Australia against the National Quality Standards. Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre. Outside, we have three areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. Our yards are beautifully shaded, with sandpits, bike paths, a wooden fort and lots of space to explore. Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
