As our Category Manager, you will be the expert in the colour cosmetics category across our grocery channel, as well as our fragrance portfolio across the general pharmacy channel. You will use a combination of both shopper panel and scan sales data to understand shopper and category dynamics. By collaborating with our sales and marketing teams, you will play a pivotal role in driving our retail customers businesses forward, while simultaneously challenging yourself and contributing to the growth of the business. Reporting to Head of Commercial Excellence, your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Using shopper insights and scan data to diagnose category and brand performance, identifying opportunities and challenges ahead Leading the category management inputs at the category reviews across grocery including insight generation, identifying range gaps and defending deletion notifications Driving the development of range & space layout proposals for grocery category reviews working cross functionally to understand ranging priorities, company deletions and New Product Development (NPD) Partnering with internal stakeholders to develop and execute strategies to maximize business profitability and expansion opportunities Collaborating with external space planning teams to analyze competitor share of shelf and create in-store implementation recommendations based on the most recent instore layouts from each bay size Supporting the develop of customer sell stories for NPD launches & Point of Purchase (POP) opportunities aligned to Coty plans Conducting pre and post range review evaluations to understand Share of Shelf gains & loses for both Coty & for Competitors YOU ARE A COTY FIT Your love for working in a fast-paced environment, focused on building strong relationships and ability to deliver outstanding results, will make you a great addition to the team. Additionally, you will also have: 3- 5 years experience in category management working in the grocery channel. Experience of using Planograming software, preferably Blue Yonder. Strong analytical skills, with experience of using Circana/Nielsen/Quantium to derive actionable insights from data. Effective communication & influencing skills, knowing when and how to communicate with your stakeholders, flexing your style where appropriate, comfortable standing in front of your audience. Attention to detail and effective planning and prioritization skills Interest in the beauty industry would help. Interest in growing categories and brands is essential.
