Free undercover secure parking, with access to onsite charging stations for electric vehicles 14 weeks paid parental leave – at full or half pay Hybrid, family-friendly and flexible working arrangements including substitution of public holidays. 12.75% superannuation and salary packaging of novated lease vehicles Find a career that matters and lasts As the Business Analytics & Insights Team Leader, the role involves guiding, coaching, and developing specialists in Operations and Service Delivery (OSD) analytics. The primary aim is to deliver business analytics and insights for the division, fostering data-driven decision-making for operational and strategic planning. Additionally, the position entails collaborating with our Analytics functions across the organisation to enhance the level of data and analytics proficiency within the Powerlink Data and Analytics Operating Model. You will do this by: Guiding the Business Analytics team in delivering performance monitoring and reporting for the division, interpreting operations data, and offering insights. Overseeing the coordination and production of appropriate data and information, ensuring governance over key solutions and services within OSD and the broader Powerlink data/information and solution environment where necessary. Ensuring the reliability and efficiency of data and information management services and OSD analytics, including developing solutions through data analysis and processes to deliver precise analytical information. Assisting in program delivery and provide ongoing support for Operational Support Services or as directed. Driving transformation within the stakeholder base to achieve defined outcomes in OSD delivery analytics, data, and information in line with the OSD vision and strategy. Managing stakeholder engagement and maintain effective working relationships with analytics customers by understanding and meeting business requirements and providing professional, dependable, and timely service. The community you will join Located in Brisbane, this position reports to the Manager of Governance, Assurance, and Insights and oversees three direct reports. Your role entails assembling a specialised team dedicated to enhancing Powerlink's business analytics and insights, driving the business forward to the next stage of growth. Your expertise You’ll hold degree level qualifications in Data or Information Management, Data Science, Analytics, or lesser qualification with significant experience in Analytics. We’d also love you to have: Significant expertise in the design, development, implementation and administration of technical information-based solutions. Demonstrated track record in managing data systems performance and delivery and providing advice and assistance in the operation and use of such solutions in line with business and customer requirements. Demonstrated ability to actively promote the adoption of a strong information management customer service relationship culture with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely access to data and information whilst maintaining established security protocols. Demonstrated ability to initiate and implement improvements to the quality and efficiency of data and information services and capability. Experience in the coordination and delivery of data analytic services to ensure products meet customer requirements and comply with appropriate policies and quality standards.
