We are searching for an inspired Game Artist to join our Sydney Game Studio making amazing games and player experiences. Responsibilities In this role, your responsibilities will include: · Designing and creating exceptional in-game art and animation content utilising a wide variety of industry standard software applications. · Preparation and handover of art and animation assets to software engineers for game-engine implementation. · Being an advocate for artistic and technical excellence. · Actively participating in and contributing to creative brainstorming meetings. · Following digital asset management and version control practises. · Being passionate about games, emerging art-trends and technology! What we are looking for The ideal candidate will have: · 3+ years of professional art production experience working in a game development studio or aligned industry. · An amazing portfolio of work that showcases your craft and passion. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · A wonderful eye for detail and quality. What We’re Looking For: · A generalist and a craftsperson; Designing and creating static and animated game content i.e. characters, animals, creatures, objects, environments and logos across a range of art genres. · A great eye for graphic, illustrative and motion design. · Preparation and handover of art/anim assets to software engineers for game-engine implementation. · Development experience creating assets for games/applications using Unity or Unreal. · A proactive self-starter and an awesome team collaborator!
