You will be an integral part of our lead team and work side by side with current Stakeholders driving engagement and education needs in the procurement/contracts space. This dynamic and exciting position is offered as a permanent position based on a family friendly Monday to Friday drive roster. As a member of the Location Lead Team, you will act as the single point of contact to the Director of Procurement Operations, Australia and Europe and will be the go-to person for Portland on procurement related matters. This position drives competitive advantage by: * Working with business operations to align the procurement strategy with the business strategy * Integrating category sourcing strategies * Demonstrating location indirect procurement spend with sustaining capital * Engaging the Centre of Excellence to standardize and optimize processes, procedures, systems and practices; and * Driving Continuous Improvement and Supplier Integration About you To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas: * Developing operations strategies and providing input to short- and long-term business planning processes * Executing agreed sourcing strategies and contracts to ensure performance standards are achieved including maintaining continuous operation, achieving commercial cost savings and productivity targets and improvements.
