Key accountabilities Responsible for HR support / partnering with any cluster leads in ANZ, and their teams, with a focus on building strong relationships and furthering our highly engaged team culture and outcomes No supervisory element Ability to work in & navigate a matrix environment Mental agility and change management capabilities and focus Ability to analyse and use data for decision making Demonstrated IR skills and experience with Unions and Fair Work Performance management guidance and support to the team in areas such as coaching, counselling, disciplinary actions and career development Works with the business to improve working relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention and can demonstrate experience in this regard HR policy advice and guidance is required as is at times supporting the HR Ops team on contact advice, EA interpretation etc. Provides guidance and advice on business unit restructures, changes, workforce planning, succession and talent management Participates in, and supports the Global team in the implementation of all training – D&I, management training etc. Performs other duties as required and directed Skills / abilities summary: Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills Strong interpersonal, collaboration and leadership skills Team player with a focus on one team Organization and attention to detail Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply the relevant legal and IR / EA frameworks for the use of SG Strong analytical and problem solving skills Mental agility and an ability to pivot quickly and provide options and solutions and think on their feet Minimum 5-8 experience in a HRBP role and ideally in complex environments or a matrix organisation AHRI / HR qualification preferred, but not essential Work Health, Safety & Welfare Requirements Take reasonable care for your own health and safety. Comply with any reasonable instruction that is given by the person conducting the business or undertaking to allow the person to comply with legislative requirements. Report unsafe conditions or practices, and make suggestions to their business leader on improving work, health & safety at Study Group. Exercise duty of care in the health, safety and welfare of pupils and ensure they are treated with dignity and respect. Where applicable, participate in the staff consultation process about work health & safety matters.
