Primary purpose of this role The purpose of the role ensures the execution of all academic administration and associated compliance activities across the Study Centres; ensuring high levels of customer service to students, and support to the academic team for specified activities relevant to the position. Key accountabilities Administration Ensuring that the enrolment process for continuing student enrolments occurs in-line with university timelines and procedures and that Banner and Study Global are updated accordingly. Ensuring that student requests to transfer courses are processed on-campus through the CSU Course Transfer Policy The accuracy of all student details on the PRISMS database and that students who do not arrive / re-enrol or who are terminated by CSU via the Intention to Report (ITR) process are terminated on the system; that any approved course transfer details re updated; and that CoEs issued for course extensions meet requirements. Supporting the academic team with the administration requirements of the timetable each semester – by ensuring that the timetable for each course and Centre is accurately recorded, accessible to key stakeholders and stored in a secure location. Organising casual contracts (with SG HR) for casual teaching staff based on direction from the National Academic Director Supporting the academic team with the administration requirements of the assessment moderation process, such as scanning and saving samples of students’ assessment, as requested by the Course Coordinators and that this process is conducted under tight security arrangements. Ensure that approved academic credit (by CSU Course Director) for affected students is updated on the Banner system, and that a new CoE with a reduced course completion time is issued, if needed, based on the amount of credit awarded (where credit is approved post-admission); and that students re advised accordingly.. Participate in ensuring that all processes applicable to the functions of the national academic administration team are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure adoption of a national processing approach. Other Duties as required by management. Compliance Charles Sturt University Study Centres fall under the Charles Sturt University Compliance policies. The holder of this position is required to adhere to all applicable Charles Sturt University policies relating to the delivery of Charles Sturt programs and management of Charles Sturt University students at the Study Centres. The holder of this position is required to have a detailed and working knowledge of the applicable higher education regulations and legislation (e.g. National Code 2018, ESOS Act, TEQSA Threshold Standards, etc.) relating to their business unit. Where applicable, participate in the staff consultation process about work health & safety matters.
