The role, at a glance: The Software Quality Assurance Engineer provides direct support for the validation and verification of software and firmware applications and associated audio and visual equipment. How you'll contribute: Programming experience involving C, C++, C# or python or similar tools/languages. Work closely with team members from multiple disciplines. Perform manual black box testing on desktop devices, networked desktop devices and devices attached to the Cloud. Support test automation. Review technical documentation and provide feedback as required. Setup Network environments for computers and devices, locally and in the Cloud. Document test plans, test cases and test results in Jira. Other duties as assigned by your supervisor. A successful candidate should have: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or another technical education or equivalent on-the-job experience. 5+ years of extensive testing experience and knowledge of a wide range of testing protocols. Demonstrated ability to produce detailed process and test documentation including quality plans; good written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience using Windows, Linux, Android, iOS a plus. Experience with unittest, pytest, Selenium, Playwrite, Postman, or other API testing tools is a plus. Work environment: This is an onsite position based in Stafford, Brisbane. Stand or sit for long periods of time. Routine use of standard office equipment.
