How will you make an impact in this role? The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our client base within the ANZ region. This role will focus on selling our suite of payment fraud prevention, account protection, and chargeback management solutions to enterprise-level clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, a deep understanding of the fintech and payments landscape, and a proven track record of success in selling complex technology solutions. Responsibilities Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand the client base in the ANZ region. Identify and target key enterprise clients across various industries, including e-commerce, financial services, retail, and travel. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building. Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Engage with fraud prevention, finance, and payments leaders, including C-level executives, to understand their business needs and pain points related to fraud prevention, account protection, and chargeback management functions. Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of our solutions. Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor. Solution Selling: Work closely with prospective clients to identify their specific requirements and tailor our solutions to meet their needs. Collaborate with internal teams, including solution consultants and subject matter owners, to maximize the business's sales outcomes. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to position our solutions in the market effectively. Contract Negotiation and Closing: Lead the negotiation and closing of complex sales contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for the client and the company. Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing. Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to one-up leader Utilize CRM tools to track and manage sales activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the fintech, payments, or fraud prevention industry. Proven track record of success in selling complex technology solutions to enterprise clients. Success in entering new market segments to drive new sales and customers Strong understanding of payment fraud prevention, account protection and chargeback management solutions. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel within the ANZ region as needed.
