Job Title : System Engineer Intern Location: Sydney, NSW * Duration : 3 Months Position Overview We are seeking a motivated System Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in supporting and optimizing our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities - Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network and systems issues.- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance tasks.- Collaborate with team members to ensure systems are secure and up-to-date.- Assist in documenting processes, procedures, and system configurations.- Participate in project planning and implementation tasks under supervision.- Learn and adhere to company policies and procedures related to IT systems and security. Requirements - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.- Previous internship or academic projects related to system administration or IT infrastructure.Powered by JazzHR
