About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to lead our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and the ability to build effective relationships with all stakeholders. This role is crucial for driving our financial strategy and ensuring the company's financial health. This role can also be remote or hybrid. The successful candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to change quickly. Our highly collaborative culture requires working across cross-functional teams, business units, and geographies, so we seek someone who is flexible with their time. We are looking for a problem solver with a growth mindset who is eager to tackle challenges and drive continuous improvement.This role can be either full-time or part-time, with flexible working options available for the right candidate.This role can be remote or hybrid. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team, ensuring alignment and delivery of company’s financial and strategic goals Manage and deliver processes, systems, policies, and positive culture to support company’s daily operations and overall strategic goals Drive the financial strategy and provide strategic financial insights to support executive management and stakeholders. Financial Management: Support executive management and stakeholders by providing analyses and recommendations on financial climate, market trends, budget planning, P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, financial modelling, valuation, forecasting, and long-term planning. Manage and deliver capital raising requirements as needed to support company's growth strategies Oversee financial management of the company’s global operations in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, US, LATAM and Europe Oversight and Compliance: Oversee tax, internal controls, payroll, compliance, transfer pricing policies and audit-related matters. Prepare and present official financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with executives and key stakeholders to create and manage budgets and key performance indicators. Ensure timely completion of tasks in a fast-paced work environment. Maintain and develop relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and accountants. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Proven successful track record with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior financial role or similar capacity. Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent). Strong leadership skills with excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication abilities. Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strategic thinker with the ability to devise financial policies and strategies. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and ability to quickly adjust to change. Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative culture, working across cross-functional teams, business units, and geographies. Flexibility with time management to accommodate various time zones and project requirements. Problem solver with a growth mindset, eager to tackle challenges and drive continuous improvement. Preferred Qualification: Broader commercial and operational experience: Demonstrated experience in overseeing various aspects of a business beyond finance, including operations, and sales. This includes understanding how different functions within the organisation interact and contribute to overall business success. Experience working in a publicly listed company: Familiarity with the regulatory, reporting, and governance requirements of a publicly listed company. This includes experience in preparing and presenting financial reports for public disclosure, managing investor relations, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.Powered by JazzHR
