To join the team you will be required to have experience in the hospitality industry and exceptional skills working and communicating with people. Qualifications / Experience: Experience in food preparation and cooking for large numbers of people. Preferred TAFE certificate (Cook or equivalent) National Police Certificate Primary responsibilities: Maintaining efficient management and delivery of food services for residents. To take responsibility and charge of the kitchen in the Chef Manager's absence when in the role of Cook. Specific responsibilities: Delegates tasks to the catering staff in the preparation and service of meals. Complies with policies and procedures in relation to Food Handling and Infection Control. Enforces and promotes compliance by all kitchen staff to policies and procedures in relation to Food Handling and Infection Control. A can do attitude with attention to detail. Prepares residents' meals according to dietary plans and menus developed in consultation with a Dietician and the Chef Manager. Flexibility to work various days and shifts.
