We have a great opportunity for a Demand Planner to join our Integrated Planning team on a 12 month maternity cover contract. Bringing your solutions oriented focus, you’ll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world. Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities: * Partner with Sales, Marketing and Finance to build robust customer demand plans underpinned by thorough analysis, clear R&Os and capture of Demand Drivers * Deliver accurate volume demand forecast as a key input into the Integrated Business Planning Process: based on documented assumptions/analysis across the planning horizon for the relevant product and customer hierarchy * Perform root cause analysis for forecast variance. * Support sales and marketing in creating innovation plan (volumes) based on assumptions together with end of life-cycle planning. * Facilitate Customer Demand review session as part of IBP process. * Drive improved forecast quality to support the business to meet customer service expectations. * Ensuring volumes, assumptions and actions are shared and agreed. * Attend and contribute to other meetings through S&OP cycle (Supply Review, MBR) where necessary * Work with Supply Planner to manage inventory targets and CFR * Meet both inventory and customer service targets – drivers of CCC/FCF * Highlight areas of risk to the annual and monthly P&L * Manage and communicate mitigation plans which balances supply – inventory, service and cost – ensuring the best action implemented * Lead the team to ensure communication on demand (Forecast Accuracy and Bias impact), Supply (stock issues, Case Fill Rate (CFR) / On Time In Full (OTIF)) issues, including root cause is understood and corrective actions are implemented * Provide support to the Planning Manager by attending key monthly management meetings as required Requirements: * At least 3+ years of Demand Planning/Planning orl forecasting experience * Strong Analytical Skills using third party tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Prevail, SAP) * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills * Ability to think strategically and execute tactical with a bias for action * Ability to make decisions that are a “best for business” approach * Experience with S&OP forums, reviews and procedures * Logistics (front and back end) expertise * SAP/APO-SNP knowledge Desirable: * Tableau * Power BI * Prevail * Experience working in a matrix/global organization About You: You’re driven to perform at the highest level possible, and you appreciate a performance culture fueled by authentic caring.
