About the Opportunity The Account Director, Emerging Channels is responsible for developing and achieving deliverables, profit and net sales metrics for: Ecommerce Pure Play (Amazon/Catch), Costco, Aldi, Metcash/ Independents, Baby Bunting and Pacific Islands Export business. The role will lead, define, execute and review the Market Sales strategy by category, and translate this strategy into high quality commercial plans and programs for the accounts. It will have high visibility across our fastest growing and strategic retail partners in the region and step change our relationship, understanding, support and performance with them. In parallel, the role will lead, coach and guide the activities of the team in delivering these plans for the retailers while enrolling the total organisation in the path forward to win with these accounts. The team is a highly important part of the sales function which includes developing and nurturing top talent for the business including the graduate program scheme. As the Account Director, Emerging Channels your responsibilities will be diverse, including: * Lead, develop, implement and monitor a strategic plan for client channels, with a focus on 12mth commercial plans. Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop differentiated JBPs aligned inside KCA and the client to deliver combined objectives * Deliver in market share objectives by brand for all clients * Deliver sales & market share objectives across all categories; * Lead and direct strategy, taking corrective action to achieve gross to net targets. Measure and track KPIs taking corrective action to address * Achieve sales and profit revenue budgets for the Emerging Channels portfolio with a focus on profit delivery * Lead and inspire the Emerging channels Team and key priority clients to drive excellence in execution; * Lead the team and work cross functionally with marketing, customer and shared service teams to ensure planning targets can be reached; * Ensure all Channels have strategic plans completed in line with brand plans which are communicated to all key stakeholders About you * Proven ability to lead, enrol and support high-performing cross functional teams that openly embrace the diversity and unique experiences of KCA Australia. * Clear strategic and category development experience ideally gained in a sophisticated market with demanding customers and developed channels; * Strong sales/commercial experience working closely with major retailers in Australia and/or abroad, Ideally this includes direct account responsibility with a world class Retailer * In-store merchandise experience with an ability to piece together layout proposals that delight shoppers and drive category growth * Advanced business acumen and management, with the ability to navigate financial challenges that ultimately lead to benefit for KCA and retailers alike * Consumer, category and/or Shopper Insights experience * Strong coaching / people management experience of teams What’s on offer: Our Kimberly-Clark employees receive a competitive salary and incentives as well as access to a fantastic range of benefits including superannuation, career development opportunities, free health & well-being activities, volunteering leave and much more.
