In this pivotal role, you will manage the planning and risk management function of the Refinery of the Future (ROF), ensuring our program sails smoothly towards success. You will support the full lifecycle of ROF, from conceptualisation to technological evolution and be the mastermind behind our roadmap, ensuring predictability and precision in delivery. Your key contributions and activities will be: * Develop, control, and maintain program and project schedules to the highest industry standards, guiding ROF through every phase of its evolution. * Create multiple critical paths within the program/project, providing clarity and direction to our journey. * Prepare and maintain a robust Progress Monitoring system, ensuring we stay on course and navigate any obstacles with ease. * Review, approve, and integrate third-party schedules or tender information, ensuring alignment with our plans. * Lead schedule workshops and translate complex schedule information into easily digestible insights. * Identify key trends to inform program and project decisions, continuously refining and improving our path forward. * Develop and maintain a comprehensive Risk Management system, recognising and mitigating risks at all levels of the program. What you can bring to the role * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent project management. Post graduate qualifications desirable. * Background in major projects with demonstrated program / portfolio experience. * Effective at managing Contractors and engaging with stakeholders at all levels. * Strong business acumen with an ability to influence. * A collaborative work approach that embraces diversity of thinking, teamwork and cultivating innovation across global locations. * A passion for pioneering the future, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities and mitigating risks along the way. Although the role is initially offered as a 2-year fixed-term position, there may be opportunity for transition to a permanent role in the future.
