Join us at BGIS and be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence and innovation in project management!Role Overview: We are seeking a flexible and adaptable Project Manager to join our team at BGIS. The primary focus of this role is to Project Manage the Aged infrastructure and Essential Services audits, inspections, testing and remedial works. These inspections will be completed by a specialist contractor and includes but not limited to the following: 1 identify, via visual inspections and intrusion inspections as required of building fabric, any defects to the building structure and/or fabric. 2 undertake immediate remedial work to make safe risks identified; and 3 undertake risk assessments of remaining defects in order to make recommendations for remedial works required to mitigate the identified risk and maintain ongoing safe operation of the facilities. 4 Manage all elements of the Essential Services testing program to ensure compliance is achieved for the issuance of Annual Certifications.Key Responsibilities: * Project Execution: Ensure projects are completed within the specified time, quality, and budget parameters. * Customer Advocacy: Provide exceptional service to foster strong customer relationships. * Team Leadership: Actively manage employees and subcontractors through effective leadership and communication. * Compliance: Maintain full compliance with contracts and BGIS business systems, including OHS&E policies and procedures. * Resource Coordination: Assign and coordinate resources to meet project objectives and monitor progress. * Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets to achieve revenue, cost, and profit targets. * Change Management: Communicate and manage ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance. * Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings, contract finalization, and the development of requirements and specifications. * Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. * Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency. * Reporting: Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive management. * Planning: Lead project planning sessions to ensure timely project delivery. * Risk Mitigation: Design and implement risk mitigation plans. * Growth Opportunities: Identify and initiate new project opportunities. * Documentation Management: Oversee all project documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance. * Tender Process Participation: Engage in the tender process, including design, submission, and review.Qualifications & Experience:Essential: * Demonstrated experience in a similar role, delivering projects or Capex programs. * Strong business acumen with experience in contract management of consultants, contractors, and suppliers. * Proven ability to work within environments using QA, OH&S, and environmental management systems. * Ability to respond quickly to change and adopt innovative problem-solving approaches. * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project.Desirable: * Experience within an integrated services and property model delivering Property Management, Facilities Management, and Project Management services. * Demonstrated experience in relationship management with external clients and contractors. * Membership in professional bodies such as AIPM, AIA, IEAust, or AIQS.Qualifications:Essential: * Certificate IV in OHS or demonstrated project management experience. * Current General Induction for the Construction Industry card. * Diploma/Graduate Diploma of Project Management or a Trade Certificate in a relevant discipline (e.g., drafting, building and construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC mechanic, mechanical engineering technician). * Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Architecture, Building/Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying).Desirable: * Post-trade/post-graduate qualifications in Building Systems, Project Management, Engineering, or Business Management. * Accreditation as a NABERS assessor or Green Star professionalWhy Join BGIS?
