Position Title: Social Media SpecialistDivision: MarketingBusiness Unit: Ray White GroupPosition reports to: Social Media and Content ManagerCurrent Incumbent: NoLocation: Sydney (geographic scope Australia and New Zealand) THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL: Ray White, one of Australia's most iconic and largest real estate networks, is seeking a passionate andcreative Social Media and Content Specialist to join our team in Sydney. This position will play a pivotalrole in driving our social media strategy and content creation efforts, ensuring that we engage ourcustomers and continue to position ourselves as the largest group in Australasia in the ever-changingreal estate market. Reporting directly to the Social Media and Content Manager, you will collaboratewith a team consisting of a Social Media and Content Coordinator and two Videographers.This role is perfect for someone excited about a new challenge and willing to hit the ground running whileremaining willing to pivot quickly when required. You have a passion for writing and content creation butaren’t afraid to dig deep into analytics, implementation and optimisation, ensuring we’re growing andengaging our audiences. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Social Media Management: Implement and execute the social media strategy Create engaging content for various platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok for our core business units: Residential Commercial Work with the social media coordinator to manage and oversee social media content and campaigns Handle social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting and performance analysis across Meta and LinkedIn Collaborate with internal teams, including PR, Communications, Design, and state and business unit teams, to bring marketing plans to life Work with the broader team to create and execute social media integration for campaigns and new product launches Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies Social Listening and Community Management: Interact with our social media communities, building relationships to increase brand reach Respond to social media messages and comments promptly and professionally Monitor social listening tools (Hootsuite) to understand brand sentiment, track competitor activity, and identify potential PR risks Reporting and Recommendations: Analyse social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns. Use data-driven insights to provide recommendations for improving social media performance Ray White Network Social Media Management: Manage the social media distribution platform, including content scheduling and monthly content calendars Proactively educate and provide resources to the network on social media best practices Provide regular training to those in the Ray White Group on social media Policy Enforcement and Visual Identity: Ensure compliance with social media policy and guidelines Maintain the visual identity of our social pages within the strategy and platform guidelines QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE: Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in communications, social media, or marketing Minimum of 2 years experience managing social media platforms and communities Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in reporting and analysing social media performance Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines Experience with social media advertising across Meta and LinkedIn OUR BUSINESS: RAY WHITE Ray White, founded in 1902 in Crows Nest, Queensland, has evolved into one of Australasia's mostsuccessful real estate businesses.
