About the Team The Workday Adaptive Planning UX Design team believes building delightful product experiences requires a great deal of passion for user experience, user empathy and deep understanding of interaction design coupled with problem-solving skills, and creativity.We are currently seeking an individual with a strong work ethic and growth mindset to join the Workday team in Brisbane as a UX Designer. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the design of world-class products and create a positive experience for our customers.Our design team focuses on simplifying the complexity of bringing together financial planning, reporting and analytics solutions in a single cloud platform by applying design best practices in improving - complex enterprise process workflows & collaboration, sheets for data entry and modeling, data visualization & reporting, and platform management. About the Role In this role you will: Lead complex and high-impact product design projects that users love - from customer research, user flows and prototypes, to the final UI design specs.Collaborate with a range of cross-functional teams (including Engineering, Product Management, UX Research and UX Design) across our Planning portfolio.Collaborate with UX researchers using a variety of methods to gain insights into customer needs and inform design solutions.Contribute to product vision and roadmap, design critiques, and sprint planning.Contribute to our Planning Design System by creating new components, patterns, and guidelines. About You Basic Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience in User Experience Design.Proven experience communicating and collaborating across a variety of stakeholders, including UX researchers, product managers, copy writers and engineers.Experience in fundamentals: customer research, user flows, wireframes, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, usability testing, detailed UI design specs.Proficiency with modern design and prototyping software and tools such as Figma.Strong understanding and knowledge of web design principles.A portfolio of design work/case studies demonstrating your principles, methodologies, and approach - that shows the work you have delivered. Other Qualifications Experience exploring several design solutions, prototyping and iterating based on quantitative/qualitative customer research and experimentation to deliver the best experiences.Understanding of design system patterns, design principles, and the limitations/capabilities of a platform technology.Experience with product strategy.Knowledge of or experience meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG AA).
