So why not trust DTEX with that all important next step in your career? Role Description As a Full Stack UI Developer, you’ll be coming into a new and exciting space within the security industry. You will be working with a multidisciplinary team to bring the best possible user experience to our customers. This is a unique opportunity to play a defining role in the development of our platform. We’re looking for a collaborative, analytical and user-focused team member who can rapidly assess feasibility and bring designs to life. This is an end-to-end role requiring strong skills in front-end UI development as well as server-side technologies. You’ll succeed in this role if you’re a thoughtful developer who can interpret complex stakeholder and user needs and take implementations beyond raw requirements to deliver digital experiences that help our customers do their jobs. A key part of this role will be rapid prototyping and iteration, always with an eye to future flexibility and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be: Skilled at bringing technologies together to develop user interfaces to a very high standard of quality, from backend architecture to front-end micro interactions. Motivated by big data and applying it to industry problems in sophisticated ways. Comfortable collaborating closely with UX designers to deliver digital experiences, implementing designs at various levels of fidelity. Detail-oriented, comfortable working with data presentation, and able to anticipate the broader impacts of development decisions – especially on end users. Able to drive projects as part of a small team. Able to prototype and evolve implementations, continuously iterating and improving. Eager to develop a holistic understanding of our products, users and business, and how these fit into the broader cyber industry. You will be supported by a wonderful team of smart and engaged people and will have an opportunity to bring your skills to improve products that are used and trusted by major customers worldwide. What You Will Do: Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code across the full stack, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Lead the development of new features and applications using Python, Django, React, OpenSearch, OpenSearch Dashboards and other relevant technologies. Integrate data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, blob stores etc. Ensure that security and data protection standards are met across all aspects of the application. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development, implementing best practices that contribute to the team’s effectiveness. We Are Looking for You If You Have/Are: 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on Python/Django and React. Proven experience in front-end and back-end development. Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques. Proficient with back-end development using Python and Django with a solid understanding of RESTful APIs and server-side logic. Expertise in front-end languages and frameworks (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch and OpenSearch. Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
