Description:

We are recruiting for a Drill Fitter to live and work in Australia on a working visa. Responsibilities: Attending site emergency breakdowns. Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and air systems. Major repairs and servicing of all drilling and support equipment. Ensure equipment is maintained safely and timely to minimize cost and increase productivity. Undertake necessary risk and pre-task assessments. Technical guidance & field service support to operations personnel. Effective management of documentation and reporting as per client and company requirements. Education and qualifications: A minimum of a high school certificate or equivalent. Relevant licenses as required. 5 years of education from secondary school upwards A minimum of 5 years experience in the mining industry as a Drill Fitter Strong knowledge of drilling equipment and machinery. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Skilled in performing repairs, maintenance, and adjustments on heavy-duty vehicles. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy tools and equipment. Able to work individually and in a team. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Excellent written and spoken english Other requirements: Must be able to provide a National police clearance check Ability to pass a detailed medical and health exam Must have a valid passport - valid for more than 6 months Drivers license for manual transmission Ability to pass a english language exam
