GSS Territory Manager Primary Function: The job of a GSS Territory Manager involves acting as a sales expert in initializing and closing sales in order to consistently achieve year over year growth, preparing annual Business Development Plan, implementing strategies for GSS market penetration and as well as analyzing business needs and providing new opportunities for growth. The GSS Territory Manager enhances sales department by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. The job heavily involves maintaining and building customer relationships, developing customer base with excellent support and implementation of customer relations programs. The GSS Territory Manager works closely with the company mid and senior manager, operations and sales teams. The GSS Territory Manager successfully manages a Gynaecology Surgical Solutions territory and promotes all the company’s surgical products to meet established sales objectives and goals in accordance with industry, company and regulatory qualifications. Responsibilities: * Conduct sales calls, build rapport, communicate technical products and operations programs to surgeons, physicians, nursing staff, hospital administration, payers, insurers, health-care providers, and others necessary to achieve territory sales objectives. * Conduct strategic account reviews, develop corporate brand strategy, identify customer needs, delivering ongoing market analysis, market intelligence and competition assessment, building referral and lead generation networks. * Address client concerns and handle calls that require manager involvement. * Handle multiple projects and staff members, work well under pressure, work with others in a team and take initiative in a dynamic environment. * Sales Planning: plan quarterly and execute an Interactive Strategic and tactical territory Sales Plan. Including Master Sales plan, CRM, Marketing and Educational plans. * Prepare forecasts and achieve sales forecast objectives for all products, to include capital equipment and related disposables. * Create and/or implement custom in field promotional programs for targeted regional customers and decision makers. * Time management – prioritizing and expertise to make good business judgments in relationship to efficiency, effectiveness and ROI. * Provide surgical procedure and technical product support in surgery as well as ongoing customer service in accordance with company policy and industry OR protocol. * Support the development of in-field training programs for regional centers of excellence and develop a close working relationship with the course director and facility. * Plan and conduct educational programs at regional institutions for customer training and provide classroom or infield training to new hires as needed. * Submit timely purchase orders, sales planning and expense reports. Report customer product inquiries and service requests within 24 hours of receipt. * Authorize return goods in accordance with approved policy. * Maintain up-to-date computerized account details, hospital lists, and customer files, and compile electronically to corporate office as needed via the CRM * Establish and control territory medical education, travel and general operating budget. * Provide feedback on product performance, competition, products, marketing practices and customer satisfaction. * Submit special reports regarding operation of the territory, product acceptance, and specifications, or competitive activity. * Attend all corporate training, sales meetings, industry training, conventions, and in-field development courses. * Adhere to all corporate policies, procedures, instructions and directives to achieve objectives and maximize profitability.
