About the role Mater Private Hospital Springfield (MPHS) is a contemporary and innovative facility incorporating the latest digital technologies, providing community wellness initiatives and patient and family centered models of care. The hospital is an 80-bed hospital which provides a range of medical and surgical services as well as a combination of Perioperative and day beds, and a day oncology unit within a dedicated cancer care centre. Mater Hospital Springfield has a full-time permanent opportunity for a Registered Nurse with background in a surgical ward setting to join our team. Compensation range: $33.73 - $43.34 (RN Level) per hour plus superannuation What you’ll be doing As an RN within the inpatient environment, your background and skills will see you seamlessly integrate in to this outstanding team, to provide an exceptional level of care. The team is supportive, approachable, patient-focused and provides excellent training and development opportunities with the expertise to utilise education resources from within the Mater Group. About you We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Registered Nurse with background in General Surgery including orthopaedics, gynaecological and ENT. To succeed in this role, you will have/be: Current AHPRA registration Exceptional teamwork skills to seamlessly join and positively contribute to a strong and unified team Proven clinical competency and the expertise to maintain the highest standards of nursing care Good communication and clinical analytical abilities to maximise patient care outcomes Demonstrated expertise to work within a team and independently Expertise to be available for all shifts on a rotating roster basis Why join us?
