We currently offer an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Specialist to join our growing team based in Sydney. The Recovery Specialist will be responsible for managing fraud incidents across the fleet, as well as interacting with members in various aspects of debt collection and fraud control. Duties involves debt recovery, analysing and investigating suspicious/fraudulent accounts and coordinating car recoveries.Essential responsibilities: Providing effective customer service in a timely, courteous and professional manner Answering enquiries and correspondence relating to outstanding debts Recover payment for damage from members or 3rd parties, and where necessary negotiating payment plans Escalating long-term unpaid debt Preparation of reports to analyse fraud trends Gathering all relevant details and completing documentation for end-to-end claim Liaising with police and other stakeholders in fraud activities Organise car recoveries with external tow providers Recovering CTP and registration charges What will you need to succeed? Strong organisation skills High attention to detail Objectively analyse and question cases Outstanding verbal and writing skills Be comfortable in dealing with difficult conversations Patience and resilience when dealing with customers who dispute our policies Quick thinker and confident in decision making Expertise to take ownership of difficult situations Background in carshare or car rental companies will be highly regarded.
