GHD has a reputation for providing innovative solutions, with a broad client base, interesting work and a supportive culture to inspire you.About the roleDue to our continued successes, we are looking to appoint an accomplished Payroll Officer to our Australia and New Zealand payroll team.Based out of our St Leonards, NSW office you will thrive and complement our close knit team, and microsoft excel in:Accurate and timely preparation and distribution of salaries to approx 5,000 Australian and New Zealand Payroll staff on a fortnightly pay cycleThe provision of exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholdersMaintenance of employee records and related informationAssist in the preparation of termination, leave and overtime calculationsAssist in the preparation of payroll tax, workers compensation and superannuation returnsPreparation, distribution and reconciliation of payment summariesAbout youA seasoned payroll professional, you will be proficient in a variety of payroll systemsExperience in a similar professional services environment such as GHD, or alternatively in an organisation where you have delivered to multiple complex matrix businesses will be highly regardedCommitment to confidentiality and professional ethicsKnowledge of relevant tax including payroll tax and PAYG, and employee benefits taxesCustomer service orientated, you will appreciate the importance of applying tact and diplomacy in ensuring compliance to policies and proceduresExceptional communication expertise, both written and verbal will allow you to build strong stakeholder relationships with a diverse stakeholder groupThe expertise to work to aggressive deadlines while applying a high-level of attention to detailOur offerFostering gender balance, diversity and acceptance of flexible working, is central to the way GHD does business.
