Learn more at hexagon.com and follow us @HexagonAB Purpose of Position: Hexagon Mining in partnership with our client will deploy and operate a world-first fleet of 120 fully Autonomous Road Trains to carry ore 150km to the Port. Hexagon Mining have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to join our team fulltime in Western Australia on this cutting-edge Autonomous Road Trains project. The appointed individual will be an essential part of the project’s success, responsible for ensuring a high standard of technical publications are produced to support the ongoing product development and deployment of the Road Train technology stack, associated control systems software, and supporting documentation. The Role This position is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, coordination and continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environmental Management System functions across autonomous road trains project deployment phase. This role is a permanent full-time position which will require the incumbent to split their time between site and Perth. Areas of Responsibility: Implement and ensure adherence to HSE management plans and tools at project level, providing onsite support to guarantee Hexagons health, safety and environmental standards are met. Management of the health safety, environment and injury management systems including risk registers, risk assessments, safety promotion, safety assurance and policies. Engagement with client on all project HSE matters. Lead project-specific risk workshops, training programs and management plan development. Conduct compliance and audits when required purposes, supporting incident investigations and site audits. Identification and implementation of continuous improvement in all areas of HSE functions as per project/client requirements, best practice and legal compliance. Administer incident management – run reports, identify trends and advise. Knowledge and Experience - Required: Relevant HSE tertiary qualification and at least 5 years relevant HSE Specialist experience. Previous experience in a HSE role in a mining, oil and gas, industrial environment. Proven experience in writing, developing and implementing HSE training packages. Experience using Articulate software is highly desirable. Knowledge of mine safety regulations. Proven ability to maintain, build and grow exceptional working relationships with external and internal stakeholders and be a true value-add internal team member. Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Current C class drivers’ license Must have the right to work in Australia and provide evidence. Current National Police Clearance, issued within the last twelve months, or able to obtain.
