About us: We are a family owned construction company that specializes in the construction of Solar Farms. We run a wide array of machinery and are looking for a positive, solutions orientated Diesel Mechanic / Workshop Manager to join our growing team. Our projects are predominately regionally based and travel between projects will be required. www.tranexsolar.com.au Our Plant & Equipment: Across all of our projects we currently have in excess of 150 items of plant. The plant that we have is as follows, Piling Machines All Terrain Forklifts Telehandlers Tracked Skid Steers Wheeled Loaders Excavators Light Vehicles Medium & Heavy Combination Trucks The Role: We are looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic to manage the preventative maintenance of our fleet of plant and equipment. In the role you will be required to organise float transport of plant to and from our worksites, regular servicing and maintenance, ordering of parts for all machines, rebuilding/refurbishing machinery as required. The successful candidate will have good knowledge of diesel and hydraulic power systems. The successful candidate will be paired with a float operator and offsider to ensure that we can relocate machinery from sites to the workshop and back to site as quickly as possible. We operate a fleet management system (Fleetio) where the successful candidate will be required to upload all service / maintenance tasks carried out, schedule next servicing periods and track machinery maintenance expenditure. The successful candidate will be need to be savvy enough with technology based fleet management systems to manage the fleet.
