The Senior Facilities Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for the day-to-day management and operational delivery of facilities in the specified region. Reporting to the Regional Services Manager (VIC/SA/TAS), this role is essential to ensuring the seamless operation of our Facility Management Services Agreement and achieving contractual KPIs.This role is an onsite role, based in Tullamarine, Victoria.The role has responsibilities and key accountabilities as follows: - Managing the delivery of the Facility Management Services Agreement ensuring that the contractual KPIs are achieved. - Delegate and allocate work orders as required to ensure contract requirements and KPIs are achieved. - Active management of subcontractors through effective leadership and communication - Act as Regional Services Manager when required - Manage ensuring that all WHS&E policies and procedures are met and maintained by all stakeholders. - Managing and reporting all compliance tasks and activities. - Facilitating close communication across the regions, ensuring best practices, innovations, and achievements are shared across the account. - Be a BGIS customer advocate through exceptional service delivery. - Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships. - Ensure compliance and consistency with the contract and BGIS services business systems, including the management of suppliers and subcontractors to meet compliance requirements. The Senior Facilities Manager's will across several key areas: Finance and Commercial: Collaborate with the Account Management Team to ensure financial compliance, review and approve invoices, contribute to budgets, monitor subcontractors, and provide insights into contractual obligations. Operations: Respond to reported issues, supervise maintenance staff, schedule Service Contracts, manage subcontractors, monitor job requests, conduct inspections, prepare internal reports, and ensure compliance with regulations. Customer Relations: Foster positive relationships, assist in contract management, prepare performance reports, build external networks, and understand client business needs. People: Operate in alignment with BGIS' Values, build relationships within teams, promote teamwork, and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships. Performance and Safety: Manage day-to-day facilities, take ownership of results, foster communication, address underperformance, and participate in safety training and risk management.Qualifications & Experience: - Proven ability in integrated services and property models, delivering Facilities Management Services. - Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of commercial and contract management. - Extensive demonstrated experience in effectively managing relationships with external clients and contractors, with a focus on building key client relationships through diplomacy. - Significant demonstrated experience in high-risk, complex industries, particularly aviation. - Proficient hands-on management experience with medium-sized contract teams. - Proven capability in managing and supervising subcontractors. - Track record of working within environments utilizing Quality Assurance (QA), Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S), and environmental systems. - Ability to adapt quickly to change and employ a flexible, innovative approach to problem-solving and opportunities. - Proficiency in desktop applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Knowledge and experience in using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). - Formal tertiary qualifications in Facilities Management or a related discipline. - Completion of an industry-recognized course in Building/Facilities Management or a related discipline (e.g., TAFE, Tertiary, or Property Council).Why Join Us / Benefits: At BGIS, we create safe environments where our people can do their best work.
